DAY 1
UÇHİSAR CASTLE
This tall structure, which is an example of ancient skyscrapers, is located on the most dominant hill of the region. It is a dominant point where you can see the entire central Cappadocia, as well as a natural castle where the most beautiful sunset can be seen. It is called "Uç Hisar" because it was a border principality during the Ottoman period. In our tour, you will catch the most beautiful picture and viewing angle from a viewing platform close to the castle, you will sigh "if only time would stop" in surprise of hearing from your guide which civilizations it hosts and you will dive into distant dreams.
GOREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM
Cappadocia monastic life, the highest level of church decoration art, 12th century Fresco art and early decoration art, Sekko drawing. This monastery complex, where you can find all of them together and where the famous Bishop Basilius of Kayseri assumed the founding father role, is one of the most visited museums in the region. The monastery life, which partially ended the ascetic lifestyle, was an important school where the shabby monks started to live together in healthier conditions under the leadership of Basilius of Kayseri, where hot food and medicine first entered the monk life, and the Göreme Open Air Museum is a unique museum where you can discover the Secco and Fresco art of the 7th and 12th centuries in detail.
LOVE VALLEY
This viewing point, whose real name is Bağlıdere (previously famous for its vineyards) and known as the Love Valley since the 90s, is a land of interesting formations where ATV tours, wedding shoots, hot air balloon rides and photo safaris are made. This valley, which became famous after a traveler's blog with its heart-shaped formation when viewed from a balloon, constantly maintains its popularity among Cappadocia travel routes with the social media posts of celebrities who visit the region.
PAŞABAGLARI
Paşabağları, which has been able to house the cell rooms of the 1st and 4th century Ascetic Life to this day, is one of the important stops of our tour. The monks who lived a solitary life here and popularized the cell life, take you on a historical journey between the 1st and 4th centuries with the cell houses they carved in the Paşabağları valley.
AVANOS
"Even the blind know the way to Avanos, it is obvious from the pottery shards" says the famous Aşık Seyrani from Develi. It is true. It would be right to say that pottery grows in Avanos. Because you will see many trees with pottery hanging on them around Avanos, these are landscapes that tell you "our fruit is pottery". If an Avanos man does not know how to make pottery, he is not even considered a man, they do not even give him a girl. Come here and listen to the story of pottery, a major sector and cultural heritage, from the potter himself, who will shape his pots and your heart on the potter's wheel.
DAY 2
GÖREME PANORAMA
The first stop of this tour is a high point at the highest point of Göreme, with a unique view of the village itself, rock hotels, nearby valleys and the magnificent view of Uçhisar Castle. Your guide will give you detailed information about the region, geological formations and history of the region.
LOCAL PRODUCTS MARKET
The best way to truly experience the local flavors, agricultural and floral richness of a geography is to be a guest in the home of someone from that region. If you don't have such a chance, you should definitely go to the local products market, where the local people shop. We have brought together all the agricultural products grown in this region, from fruits, vegetables, grains, plants and pickles, dried/distilled/fermented/everything you can think of prepared from summer to winter, and we have given you the opportunity to have a coffee break and reach these local flavors here.
DERINKUYU UNDERGROUND CITY
Underground cities are a unique feature of Cappadocia, they emerged because the soft tuff layer can be easily excavated. These ancient settlements, which responded to the need for a safe shelter of ancient civilizations, also have the distinction of being the first settlements in Anatolia. Underground cities saved people from raids and, unlike many points in Anatolia, shelters here could not be easily occupied. A total of 36 underground cities have been discovered in Cappadocia. In the beginning, these were underground villages with fewer rooms, but gradually, especially during the Roman period, they reached a size that could accommodate thirty thousand people. The word "Derinkuyu" took its name from the abundant water wells in the region. Derinkuyu has eight underground floors, reaching a depth of 55.5 meters. There are rooms for pets, storage, a dining room, a kitchen, wine cellars, a church and even a missionary school, a confessional tunnel. The ventilation shafts of that period still serve their purpose, and the tunnels and halls of the ancient city, which is today's underground museum, are quite well lit.
